The Flier culture in Hip-Hop is pretty huge and while i've never seemed to be lucky enough to find any on my own it never stopped me searching outside of other collectors. While on vacation in New York in 2015, I ran into this old school rapper from the 80's(who will remain nameless) who was in the process of "ridding" himself of many items that were "taking up space", as he put it. Among those items were a small stack of fliers from the late 70's to early 80's. So here you have the "Bongo Rock" Back To School jam. I'm not sure if this flier is out there already or not but it is the first of many that I will be posting. The line-up on this one is pretty insane! I wish i could have been at this Bronx jam.
