HUSH Hip-Hop Tours NYC

It's been a few years since i've been on a Hush tour but if you haven't been on one I would strongly recommend it. To be clear, the Hush tours are scenic journeys through New York City where you visit historical areas of rap, graffiti, and b-boy culture. And for extra credit, the tours are hosted by various legends of Hip-hop. Learn more about them here.  I've been on 3 of these over the years, the first being hosted by Grandmaster Caz and the following 2 hosted by JDL. Check out some of the highlights.

ILL-Waukee:The Story Of Milwaukee Rap 1986-1991

8 long years. That's how long it took to complete this little film. I was always running around with a video camera back in the early 90's and would tape everything i could from television on VHS as far back as the 80's and decided i needed to somehow share this footage with everyone while i still could, so here it is. It's not the complete story of milwaukee rap but it's close. Keep in mind that i am a record collector as well as a fan of hip-hop culture so this film centers MOSTLY around the vinyl that was released from milwaukee's old school rap artists. Hope you dig it.

45's And Coffee

I'm back at Jobot Coffee Shop this Monday for the "Monday's are my Friday" 45 party and i'll have a special guest with me.  Show starts at 7-11pm. I'll be rocking a lot of disco and R & B so stop thru and get your boogie on!

Styles Consistently Burning Street Art Show DTPHX

Street art is a huge culture here in Arizona. I am amazed at the talent of some of these street artists who consistently shine through the aerosol can AND I can't believe I actually know a lot of these guys personally. Can't front, I wish I had that kind of talent, man I envy those guys! Well i'm happy to be spinning some rap tunes while these pros get busy this Saturday at the STYLES CONSISTENTLY BURNING show in downtown Phoenix alongside the Phoenix Funkeros Crew. Check the steez below.
